Hurling
The U14 hurlers had a fantastic weekend in the Donegal Féile na nGael. The first games kicked off at 2’oclock with Buncrana playing Dungloe/Gweedore. The boys were really on form from when the whistle was blown with some fantastic scores and great determination
from them. They were far too strong for the opposition which gave them victory of the scores. The next game was against St Eunans and it was a totally different game the boys seem to have lost their mojo because it was a hard battle to half time with a very low score and at half time it was 0-2 to 0-1 to Buncrana. They came out in the second half and still it was much the same as before half time it just wasn’t going the way it should have been and at the final whistle the teams ended up with draw 0-3 to 0-3. This left the boys needing to win the next game which was against Burt. When the referee threw in the ball you could see the hunger in Buncrana boys eyes you think it was a completely different team because they started to take some fantastic scores and started to play some brilliant hurling they just didn’t give Burt half a chance in the game to score. They really took the games to another level and ended up beating Burt by 3-7 to 0-0. The boys really deserved becoming Donegal Féile Champions because of all the hard work all year. Well Done Boys
