BUNCRANA CLG NOTES (14.02.2016)
Presentation Night.
Friday, 19th February will see Buncrana GAA host their Presentation Night in the Inishowen Gateway Hotel. This will be for presentation to all our adult teams who have seen success in 2015. It promises to be a great night with live music by The Hectics and disco afterwards. Tickets are €10 and are available from Buncrana club members and players. This is open to all and new faces are always welcome. Party starts 9pm! Contact Laurence Hegarty or Dermot Kenny for tickets.
Club Membership
Club membership is now due. You can renew your membership online making it easy to do. If you wish to renew please contact the club.
Club Lotto
Lotto numbers this week were 7, 20, 26, 32. There were no winners. Next week the jackpot will be €1,100.
Recycling Bin
Buncrana GAA has a recycle bin at The Scarvey. Anyone who wishes to place old clothes, shoes, curtains, towels etc… can do so. This helps raise funds for the club. Open for anyone to use.
Buncrana GAA had a number of its players representing the county this week. Well done to Paula McGrory who played with Donegal ladies. Also Jack O’Loughlin and Sam Doherty and Paul Nelson who were out with the Donegal Senior Hurlers. Caolan McGonagle and John Campbell featured this week in 3rd Level Competitions and have made it through to next weekend in Belfast in the semi finals of the Sigerson Cup and Trench Cup respectively. We wish Caolan and John luck next weekend in Jordanstown.
Anyone who may have information on GAA in the Buncrana area around 1916 is asked to contact the club. May be of interest to some of our local Historians!
