The large crowd in attendance thoroughly enjoyed the competition and many people talked about how high the standard was.
It was great to see so many people that haven’t been to Scór for many years in some cases back there in Glenswilly last night.
The success of Scór Sinsear this year is entirely down to you in the clubs who have done the work on the ground and this is greatly appreciated.
The winners on the night were as follows.
Rince Foirne: Naomh Naille
Amhránaíocht Aonair: Catriona Solan – An Clochán Liath
Aithriseoireacht/Scéalaíocht: Lisa O’Donnell – Gleann t-Súilí
Ceol Uirlise: Baile na nGalloglach
Léiriú Stáitse: Gleann t-Súilí
Grúpa Baileád: Bun a’ Phobail
Rince Seit: Na Ceithre Máistrí
Tráth na gCeist: Gaeil Fhánada
All those who took part in the county final gave a tremendous account of themselves and hopefully all will be back next year again.
We wish our county champions all the very best as they now prepare to compete with the county champions from Derry, Down and Tyrone in Glenullin on the 13th February. It would be a great help to them if we could make sure that Donegal support travels in large numbers to the Ulster semi final.
We also wish Gaeil Fhánada all the very best when they travel to Killarney to take part in the All Ireland finals of Tráth na gCeist in Scór on the 2nd April.
Míle buíochas to the Glenswilly Club and everyone who helped out in any way last night.
Is mise le meas
Fergus
