The AGM of Bórd na nÓg was held on Sunday evening in the Clubhouse with a strong attendance.
Congratluations to Gary Boyle who was elected as chairman with Seán McFadden joining him as Vice Chairman for the coming year. Michael Logue takes up the position of secretary with Catherine Bonner as assistant secretary. Kevin Boyle (Yank) and Paul Mc Fadden were elected as Southern Minor Board Delegates.
8 motions were discussed and voted upon. We wish all those elected all the very best in the coming year in the task of organising and planning activity for all under-age groups. The committee deserve and need the full support of all members in what promises to be a very active and progressive 2016.
The senior board will hold it’s AGM this Sunday (29th Nov) in the clubhouse at 7pm. The agenda and reports will be sent by email on Tuesday evening. In the event that you do not use email and would like a copy in advance of the AGM, please text 087 9610934. This is an important meeting and we ask all members to join us as we plan for the year ahead.
The 2016 and first ever Naomh Muire Calendar is available in all local shops at a reasonable price of €10. This is a brilliant item for every house in the community but more so for our community outside the area in other parts of Ireland and all over the world. Each month is filled with various club photos and the calendar looks great.
Congratulations to our very own Jack O’ Brien who has been called into Rory Gallagher’s Donegal panel for the upcoming 2016 campaign. Ádh mór ort a Jack.
