CLUB NOTES FOR WEEK ENDING SUNDAY 1 NOVEMBER 2015
Killyclogher in Co. Tyrone is the only place to be this Saturday, October 31st at 2pm as our Senior Ladies take to the field to defend their Ulster Championship title. They are up against old rivals and the Monaghan champions Donaghmoyne in what has become a yearly tradition between the two teams as they fight for a spot in the All Ireland semi finals. This promises to be an exciting and unmissable game of football between two very talented teams. Best of luck to our girls and to the management.
Then on Sunday the action switches to the Burn Road for the final home game of the year for our Senior and Reserve mens’ teams. Naomh Náille provide the opposition, with the Reserve game throwing in at 1.30 and the Seniors at 3pm. This is a crucial game, the League Division Two title decider, and all support would be welcome for the final game at the Burn Road for the men this year.
Our Under 21 team battled valiantly against reigning County Under 21 title holders St Eunan’s on Bank Holiday Monday morning, but lost out to superior shooting power from the neighbouring club, who now progress to the semi-finals.

Huge congratulations to Paddy Gallagher, James Cassidy and our U13 boys team on becoming NRB Division 1 Champions on Sunday last. A 7 point victory was just reward for a fantastic performance especially in the second half when we outscored opponents St Eunans by 1.10 – 1.01. St Eunans began brightly and lead 0.04 – 0.01 after 15 minutes but despite the physical challenge that they faced our boys knuckled down and out played their rivals for the majority of the game. It was great to see and hear the huge support in Milford for this match, well done to everyone that took time out to be there, your support was appreciated and noted by the players and management. Thanks to Milford for giving their pitch for the game. Next up it’s the All County Semi Final with Ardara or Glenties providing the opposition. The game is due to take place this Saturday with a venue and time to be confirmed later in the week. Well done lads.
It’s the turn of the Minor board to provide lotto sellers at The Bingo in Termon for the 4 Friday nights in November. Anyone that can volunteer for one of these nights can contact Eddie 086 6082512.
This week’s lotto draw takes place in the Millbridge with Paul Doherty and Charles Gallagher co-ordinating.
