***Seniors***
Bhuail Ard a’ Rátha Cloich Cheann Fhaola go héasca sa chluiche dícháilithe i gCraobh na Sinsear ar an Chlochán Liath Dé Sathairn 3-09|0-06.
Our Seniors suffered a heavy defeat in the relegation play-off replay against Ardara on Saturday last, final score 3-09|0-06. It was a very different encounter from the first meeting of these 2 teams. There was very little between the teams at half time but Ardara managed to pull away in the last 10 minutes of the 2nd half where they scored 2 goals in quick succession. They have one final opportunity to remain in the Senior Championship when they take on Killybegs in The Banks on Saturday evening at 8:30 pm! We wish the lads the best of luck in this important game.
***Cash for Clobber***
The cash for clobber clothing collection was completed around the Gortahork area during the week. Many thank to all of you who contributed clothing to this fund raising campaign for the club; your effort and support is much appreciated. Also many thanks to our volunteers who assisted in the bag drop and the clothing collection, there was a large area to cover so their help was much needed and greatly appreciated. If we missed picking up any bags along the way, please contact Martin on 086-3119186 and we can arrange to pick them up, or you can leave them down at the clubhouse!
***Quiz***
The Club are running a Quiz night in the Shamrock on Friday October 9th at 9:30 pm. It promises to be a great nights craic so please come along!
***Parish League***
The Parish League continues this Friday for u-9’s and U-11’s at 6:00 PM. The U-9 category is for children born in 2006/2007/2008 and the U-11 for children born in 2004/2005. We’d encourage as many of the kids as possible to attend!
