Our seniors and reserves are into the quarter finals of the senior football championships following wins over Termon in Towney on Sunday afternoon, our seniors won 3-12 to 1-08, Cormac Cannon, Stephen McBrearty and Conor Doherty got the goals while the reserves won 1-09 to 0-03, Declan Gallagher with the only goal from the penalty spot our seniors were drawn against Four Masters and reserves against Gaoth Dobhair in the quarter finals in two weeks’ time. Both sides are at home to Naomh Conaill this Sunday at 1:30 and 3pm in division one. Well done to former club player Ronan Shovlin who won the Junior B title with Donegal Boston over the weekend. Well done also to Daniel Lyons who was part of the county McGuigan winning side.
Underage
Well done to our Under 8s who won their group at the Ardara tournament on Friday, our Under 13s were defeated by Naomh Ultan 3-10 to 2-17 they are away to Naomh Muire this Saturday. Our Under 16s play Ardara in the divisional semi-final in Glen this Monday at 6:30pm while our minors play Division 2 county semi-final against Cloughneely on Wednesday in The Banks at 6:30pm, extra time if necessary. Bus leaving town at 3.50pm and finally well done to all those that participated in the Michael Doherty Cup, Broderick Cup & Mc Clafferty Cup last week in Towney.
