ALL COUNTY LEAGUE DIVISION 1
Malin were defeated away to St. Eunan’s last Monday on a scoreline of St Eunan’s 1-11 Malin 1-07. The team have no fixture this weekend due to the Blessing of the Graves.
UNDERAGE
The Under Fourteen boys team’s bi-annual trip away this year is going to County Meath on the weekend of 21st of August to 23rd. They will be leaving at 9.00am on the Friday and heading to Funtasia for the day before playing their hosts Castletown in a match on Friday evening. The team are then invited as a guest team to enter the North Meath 7 a side annual blitz competition, followed by a skills competition with members of the Meath County panel and a barbeque afterwards before being entertained at a Presentation by the host club Castletown, with everybody returning on the Sunday and an enjoyable weekend for all is expected. The team are down to play Buncrana next weekend in the Championship with the fixture unconfirmed but possibly Friday evening. The under 10 and under 12 girls are finished up for the summer and will resume training in late September/October.
LOTTO
There was no winner of this weeks jackpot of €2000. The numbers drawn were 7-6-4-2-3-5-1 and the €50 winner was Denny McGonagle, Drumcarbit with the €20 sellers prize going to P and D McLaughlin, Drumcarbit. Next weeks jackpot is €2050.
