***Seniors/Reserves***
Chaill Cloich Cheannfhaola an cluiche mór un éadan an Tearmainn le pointe amháin Oíche Shatharin 1-14| 1-13. Bhí droch oíche chois an tsrutháin ar an Tearmann agus bhí cluiche cruaidh ann. Fuair an Tearmann pointe na buaidhe ó shaor-chic sa bhomaite dheireannach. Bhuail foireann tacaíochta Chloich Cheannfhaola an Tearmann 2-11 | 0-08 agus tá said ar bharr an tábla.

Reserves:
Cloughaneely Reserves continued their winning ways with a win over Termon. They got off to a storming start, which Termon struggled to recover from, and took full advantage of playing with the breeze in the first half. Cloughaneely had put away 2-05 within the first 15 mins; and had a comfortable 2-07|0-05 lead at the half time whistle. Termon were unfortunate not to have had a goal in the bag just before half time, as the shot came ricocheting off the cross bar. Termon did not do enough in the 2nd half to recoup their losses and surrendered to a 2-11|0-08 defeat against CCF!

Seniors:
Having defeated Termon at home in a close fought battle, Cloughaneely succumbed to a 1 point defeat at the Burn road at the weekend. In what was a tough encounter under difficult conditions, Cloughaneely will no doubt be disappointed to not come away with at least a draw for their efforts. CCF were first on the board with 2 quick points from Shaun McGuire. Termon, having learned from the first game between these 2 teams, were determined not to be left trailing again, and responded strongly with 3 successive points without response. 6 mins in Cloughaneely navigated their way through the Termon defense and, thanks to a combination of efforts from Cillian Gallagher and Shaun McGuire, the ball rebounded off the Termon keeper back to CCFs Paul Sweeney who managed to round the keeper to find the back of the net. But, not to be out done, Termon quickly invalidated the goal with a further 3 unanswered points. 2 converted frees from Denis Boyle in the 12th and 16th minute ended Cloughaneelys first half tally. Termon, wanting to make the most of playing with the breeze, managed to get another 2 points on the board. Luck was also on Termons side when a misplaced Cloughaneely kick out found its way into Termon hands and quickly found the back of the Cloughaneely net in the 22nd min. Considering Cloughaneely were playing against a strong breeze for the first half, there was little between the teams come the half time whistle.
Half time Score: 1-04|1-08

Cloughaneely had a storming opening to the second half , and managed to notch up 6 unreciprocated points within the first 18 mins, of the 2nd half thanks to Martin McGuire, Shaun McGuire and, Cloughaneelys top scorer of the day, Denis Boyle. 38 mins in- Termon found themselves 2 on 1 with the Cloughaneely keeper Shaun McClafferty; however, McClafferty again, superbly blocked their shot on goal. Termon, having not scored since the 22nd min of the 1st half , were awarded a free in the 50th min which was easily converted, which was quickly followed by another point from play. The last 10 mins of the game was on a point for point basis which had spectators and management alike on the edge of their seats! Further CCF points came from Shaun McGuire and Declan McGarvey. The score was all level at 1-13 apiece in the dying seconds of the game when Termon were awarded a prime position free, which was easily sailed over the cross bar to notch up the winning score for the home side. Final Score 1-13|1-14
