The Minors produced an impressive display against Tyrone in the Preliminary Round with Kane kicking 3 points from frees. Best of luck to all involved.

*Seniors/Reserves*
Naomh Colmcille v CLG BnaG
Newtown, Saturday @ 6 & 7.30pm
Our Seniors and Reserves are back in Division 3 action this weekend when they take on Naomh Colmcille away. Both sides recorded victories over the Newtown men earlier in the season and will be hoping to do the double and again this week and return to winning ways after both sides were defeated in the Championship by Bundoran. Throw in for the Reserves is at 6pm with the Seniors afterwards at 7pm. All support greatly appreciated.
*Intermediate Championship*
CLG BnaG v Bundoran
Moyle Park, Saturday at 6pm & 7.30pm
The Senior and Reserves kick off their Championship campaigns this weekend with two home games against Bundoran. Both teams are currently top of their respective leagues but will have a tough task against a Bundoran Senior side currently sitting 2nd in Division 2 with 5 wins from 7, while their reserves are 10th of 14 teams in the Division 2 Reserve league having won once in 6 games. Championship matches are always big game so hopefully we get great numbers out in support and really make home advantage count. Paddy McGonagle is refereeing the senior match at 7.30pm with Aidan McAleer in charge of the Reserve game at 6pm.
*Intermediate Championship – Group 2*
CLG BnaG 2-9 Bundoran 3-10
The Seniors were defeated in their opening Goup 2 game of the Intermediate Championship on Saturday by Division 2 high fliers Bundoran. Na Galloglaigh, sporting new jerseys kindly sponsored by Malachi Eastwood of Gartan Technology started brightly and put it up to Bundoran in the opening 10 minutes, with neither side really troubling the scoreboard. The sides were level on a point apiece when a short kickout went wrong and a Bundoran forward finished superbly into the top corner after 11 minutes, this coming moments after Joey Cullen had a good goal chance denied. Cathal Mc Gettigan then had a goal chance after some good work by Kane Barrett however the Bundoran keeper did well to keep him out. There were 4 points between the sides after 16 minutes when Kane Barrett was dragged to the ground inside the box, with Cathal McGettigan coolly finishing the penalty to the bottom corner. Despite the 3 point half time deficit, 1-3 to 1-6, against a clinical Bundoran side the lads were well in this game but needed a big second half. Cathal and Kane were dominating inside despite some extremely rough treatment off the ball. The first 10 minutes were a disaster for Na Galloglaigh as Bundoran got their second goal after 3 minutes of the second half and followed this up with another after 40 minutes. The boys never let their heads drop however and fought back superbly in the last 10 minutes. A goal and a point from Darragh Black, 2 points from Kane Barrett and 1 from Cathal McGettigan left just the dubious Bundoran scores between the sides and thats how it finished. The boys acquitted themselves well against a physically stronger and cuter Bundoran side who are currently in second place in Division 2, but in ability there was nothing in it. There is a double header scheduled for next week with Na Galloglaigh away to Naomh Colmcille on Saturday and home to Burt on Monday. Team: Sean Gallagher, Kieran Sheridan, Sean Black, Gary Merritt, Tj Evesson, Enda McHugh, Brandon Toye, Joey Cullen, Jonny Logue, Darragh Black (1-1), Pauric Curley (0-1), Kyle Black, Gavin Grier, Cathal McGettigan (1-2), Kane Barrett (0-5). Subs: Paddy Peoples for McHugh (45m), Conor McNulty, James Doyle, Dean Burgess, Gavin McFadden.
*Reserve Intermediate Championship – Group 2*
CLG BnaG 1-7 Bundoran 0-11
The Reserves will be disappointed tonight after going down by the closest of margins in a hard fought game that could have went either way. It was a tough game played in poor conditions and neither side managed to get into any kind of free flowing form. Na Galloglaigh were in good shape as the half time whistle went as a brilliant Adam Serrinha goal put them 1-3 to 0-5 ahead at half time, however they lost Cormac Friel to injury midway through the half and he was replaced by Mark Flood. The second half was very much a tit for tat game with neither side pulling away from the other, although both sides had good goal chances. Kieran Gorman missed an opportunity for Na Galloglaigh on 39 minutes and Gavin McFadden pulled off a wonder save to deny Bundoran after 45. A point from Ciaran McHugh put the boys 1 point ahead as the game entered the last 10 minutes but 3 points from Bundoran, one a monster free from distance, put Bundoran in the ascendancy as the minutes ticked away. Paul Fisher added an injury time score to put just one between the sides at the final whistle. Team: Gavin McFadden, Conor McNulty, Cormac Friel, Dean Burgess, Ryan Ferry, Paul Grier, Odhrán Coll, Kieran Gorman, Paul Sweeney, Emmet Conaghan, Paul Fisher (0-2), Luke Trearty, Hugh Mc Menamin (0-1), Adam Serrinha (1-2), James Whelan. Subs: Mark Flood for Friel (15m), James Doyle and Myles Trearty for Conaghan and Ferry (HT), Ciaran McHugh (0-2) for Whelan (38m), Paddy Mc Carron for McNulty (54m).
*U12s*
Our U12 A and B teams continued their good form with two good wins over Downings. The A team didn’t get going in the first half but really stepped it up in the second in a very tight match only pulling away in the last few minutes. A good team performance and special mention to Paul Ryan, Shea McBride and Shane Black. The B team played very well in front of a good home support last night. They dominated from start to finish with each and every player contributing brilliantly. Great performances from Odhran Doherty, Fionn Coll, Lorcan Sweeney and Cillian McBride.
