Senior Men
The seniors and reserves continued their tour of Donegal with their 5th away game in succession. This time they made the journey to their name sake Aodh Rua Ballyshannon. Unfortunately it was the same outcome as the four games prior to this one. The lads gave away an early goal once again and recovered well scoring a couple of points. But the home side were in no mood to let the Reds back into the game and hammered home their intent scoring another 4 goals. The final score was Red Hugh’s 0-7 Ballyshannon 5-13
The reserves also suffered defeat in the opening game. Short on numbers once again only managed to field thirteen players. Their was only going to be one winner in this one as the home team were much stronger and more physical side. The final score was Red Hugh’s 0-7 Ballyshannon 3-10
Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Peter Sweeney who suffered a broken arm during the game.
