Well done to our Reserve and Senior men’s teams who defeated our local rivals Killybegs in the long awaited local Derby at the weekend, the reserve team won on a score line of 2-11 to 1-6,
It was a single point that separated the two teams in the Senior game Naomh Columba scored 1-03 to Killybegs 0-5, Well done to both Naomh Columba teams.
The attention now turns to this weekend coming, On Friday evening in Pairc na Geal we play Host to Naomh Mhuire Senior and Reserve teams, Games are set for 6pm and 7.30pm and on Bank holiday Monday we are back on the road away to St Nauls in Mountcharles, Game times are 1.30pm and 3pm. Best of luck to the lads and management.
Well done to the county minor team who beat Derry in ulster minor league final on Saturday last, especially our very own Philip Doherty and Philip Mc Nern.
Our U15 boys had a good win at home to Naomh Mhuire on Monday evening they now play host to Dungloe on Wednesday evening at 7.30pm in Pairc na Geal.
Our u14 girls were defeated away to Killybegs on Tuesday last, They now host Kilcar this Tuesday evening in Pairc na Geal at 7pm, so come on out and support the girls for there first home game of the season.
Going to press there were no other confirmed fixtures but as always keep an eye on Facebook, Twitter and the Local press for updates.
There is a club meeting this Wednesday the 29th of April in the club house at 8pm, as always everybody is welcome and encouraged to attend club meetings.
Our u8s and u10s have there first outdoor training session of the year on Thursday the 30th at 6pm.
Senior and Reserve training is fixed for 6pm on Wednesday evening.
A little reminder also that our Club Book celebrating our 50 years is still on sale in the local shops of the area.
