All County League
The seniors recorded a great victory over Gweedore on Saturday evening last at the Bridge in Blustery conditions winning on a scoreline of St. Michael’s 2-4 Gweedore 0-7. The St. Michael’s scorers were: Raymond McLaughlin 1-3, Andrew Kelly 1-0 and Brian McLaughlin 0-1.
Both teams are away to Ardara on this Sunday with the throw ins at 1.30pm and 3pm.
St. Michael’s Mini Lotto €6500 This week
There was no Jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 1,2,4,6,10,16. There were 3 Match 5 winners. Michelle Coyle Derryart, Michael Harris Kiltole Convoy and Eamon McElhinney Rooskey Creeslough who won €35 each.
This week’s Jackpot will be €6500; Tickets are on sale in local businesses in Dunfanaghy and Creeslough and at the Bingo Session in Massinass Community Centre Creeslough on Sunday evenings, tickets for the St. Michaels Mini Lotto can now also be purchased on line anywhere at onlinelotto on facebook .
St. Michael’s Bingo in Massinass Community Centre Creeslough
Please note the St. Michael’s Weekly Bingo Session continues in the Massinass Community Centre Creeslough at the same time of 8.00pm. A bus will be leaving Dunfanaghy at 7.30pm. We are looking forward to welcoming all our patrons old and new to our new venue on Sunday evenings. Come along on Sunday night and be in with a chance of winning the monthly prize of a Television. The winner of the €150 on the snowball game at the Bingo session on Sunday night last was Michelle Sweeney Creesloughbeg. Sympathy
The club extends deepest sympathy to the Brennan and Durning families on the death of their uncle Denis Brennan Massinass Creeslough last weekend, sympathy is also extended to his brother Paddy to his sons and daughters and to the entire family circle. Denis was a great supporter of the clubs weekly bingo session down through the years.
Lotto Rota
The St. Michael’s Lotto Rota for the next week is as follows: 16thApril Dunfanaghy Nicola Ferry and Liam Ferry, Creeslough Michael Cannon and Lorcan McDaid. Anyone who is unable to carry out this very important job for the club is asked to get a replacement on the night.

Creeslough & Dunfanaghy Health Centres
Creeslough & Dunfanaghy health centres are now providing heart screening for young people involved in sport. Sudden cardiac death is caused by abnormalities within the heart. These can often be detected through screening which involves a few questions, an examination by the doctor and a heart tracing. Under 8’s
Training continues on Tuesday’s from 6pm to 7pm at The Bridge with the bus leaving Creeslough at 5.45pm sharp. €3 for the bus, Gumshields essential.
Under 10’s
Training continues on Tuesday from 6pm to 7pm at The Bridge with the bus leaving Creeslough at 5.45pm sharp. €3 for the bus Gumshields must be worn.
Under 12’s
Under 12 training now takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 to 7.15pm at the Bridge, bus leaves Creeslough at 5.45 sharp, €3 for the bus. Gumshields is a must.
Well done to the players who travelled to Robert Emmetts last Wednesday evening for a challenge match and won by two points, this was a good team performance by all.
The under 12 fixtures have been announced and St, Michaels are in group 1 along with Milford, Downings, Macumhails B, Termon, St. Eunans A, Fanad Gaels, Cloughaneely, Gweedore and Glenswilly.
All games are scheduled for Wednesday’s at 6.30pm. Our first game is away to Termon on May 6th. The Finals scheduled for the 12th July.
Under 13’s
The team will play six games with seven teams in the group.
Under 14’s
Training takes place at the Bridge on Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 7.30pm.
Under 16’s
The under 16’s had a good win at the Bridge by two points over Cloughaneely last Friday evening. This was a good performance by a very young under 16 St. Michaels team.
The under 16’s are away to Fanad this Friday evening the 17th April.
Minors
The Minors played away to St. Eunans on Friday evening last. The game did not go their way in the first half and St. Eunans led by six points half time. Though they came back well in the second half, the boys from the Bridge were unable to overturn St. Eunans lead.
The Minor league is now wrapped up until the championship which is after the exams.
