Donegal Hurlers
Hard luck to the Donegal hurlers who were beaten by Mayo on Saturday in the National League. The final score was Donegal 1-11 and Mayo 2-13. Donegal enter into their next game with a chance to avoid relegation. Best of luck to all the team and hoping that as many people as possible come out and support the lads in the next game.
Donegal/Tyrone Game:
Well done to the Donegal team who defeated Tyrone in the National Football League on Sunday. This was a very important result which helps the county in their endeavour to retain division 1 status. Well done to Marty, Rory and all the lads. The club would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped on Sunday for the Donegal/Tyrone game as programme sellers, half time draw, shop workers, social centre staff and also to the many others who helped in various different roles to ensure the day passed without incident.
U-16 Football Result:
Our U16’s travelled to Páirc Taobhoige to take on Glenfin on Sunday morning. A highly impressive performance by the MacCumhaill’s lads seen them come out winners in the end of the local derby. Well done to all the players and management team involved.
Under-14 Hurling:
Our hurlers travelled to Donegal to take on Four Masters on Thursday evening. In a tight game that went point for point MacCumhaills won out in the end. A good finish seen the lads overcome a 4 point deficit in the last 5 minutes to claim the win. Final score: Four Masters 4.05 Sean Mac Cumhaills 4.06
