CLUB MEMBERSHIP: Club membership is now due for 2015–Fees for the year: Adult Membership €25, Students (3rd level & in full time education with student ID card) €15 and Under-age €3. Anyone playing football for the club must have their membership paid up to be covered by insurance in case of injury. Club members will have also have first preference on Donegal Match tickets for the coming season. Fees must be paid in full by March 31st. DINNER DANCE: our Annual Presentation / Dinner Dance takes place on Friday night in the Strand Hotel, so get your tickets from John Friel, committee members and all players. Tickets €20. Our Senior men will be presented with their Junior A winning medals and various other awards will be presented on the night.
U6 & 8 TRAINING: Training resumes for both U6 & U8 this Saturday and every Saturday at 11am in the Youth Club Clonmany. All children must be at school-no pre school children, thanks.
GREAT CLONMANY DUCK RACE 2014: CLG Iorras wish to Thank all who came along to the Great Duck Race in Binion on St. Stephen’s day. The main winners were:
1st Duck home 433- Nicole Devlin, 2nd Duck home 052-Neil Doherty, Urrismana, 3rd Duck home 330-Shanice O’Donnell, Last Duck home 612-Edward Mc Laughlin, Tullagh. Best dressed Duck 170- Eileen Devlin, Cleagh. Official race time was 7-05 mins-joint winners: Shane Doherty (Joe), Urris, Clint Marron, Monaghan, Katie Doherty, Urris and Rose Kelly, Urris. A massive thanks to Michael Mc Donald of Mac Tams who sponsored the first prize. Overall. a Big Thanks to Adrian Doherty, Alan Friel and Michael Doherty our main organisers of this event. Also, to all who helped in any way on the day and prior to race day especially Centra Clonmany, Clonmany PO and all who sold ducks.
DONEGAL GAA YEARBOOK 2014: The club has a number of books left for sale at €10, a comprehensive review of the club year and all the GAA action in the county for 2014. Please contact John Friel if you want to get this yearbook.
GAA NATIONAL CLUB DRAW 2015: €10 tickets are now on sale for 15 fantastic prizes including a trip to New York, All Ireland GAA package days, shopping vouchers valued at €1,000 plus other prizes. All money raised in these ticket sales stays with CLG Iorras and funds raised will help with the costs involved in the day to day running of the club from Under age to Senior level. The club is also putting up three additional prizes of a Club Jacket, Club training top and a club hoodie. Tickets can be got from John Friel and all Committee members.
