Under 12’s
The under 12’s took on Cloughaneely on Sunday evening in the Northern Region Division 2 final at the Bridge.
In the first game the rain held of as the boys and girls from the Bridge put in a good performance against a Cloughaneely side weakened by injury and absence. The home side recorded a comfortable victory with captain Carlos O’Reilly leading the way. He was ably assisted by his midfield colleague Callum Friel and by the free scoring Calvin Murray up front. Overall it was a good team performance and a great reward for all this years efforts.
The second game was a closer affair with the boys and girls in Blue coming out on top. The home side battled hard with Joshua Bradley and Aoife Kelly showing well only to come up a little short. This team has improved immeasurably over the season and we are all proud of their great efforts.
