Senior Men
The senior reserves were in action in their second leg of the championship away in Urris on Saturday. They were unstoppable from start to finish and they tore the Clonmany men apart. There were some brilliant individual performances none other than Justin Mc Bride making his senior debut and scoring a personal tally of 4 goals and 3 points. With players like this coming through ther future definitely looks bright for the club. The final score was Red Hughs 4-14 Urris 3-2. Well done Maurice and all involved great display.
The under 21 championship is due to start next Tuesday with a home match in the preliminary round v Lifford at home. All under 21 lads are asked to come out to training this week to prepare for this game.
Senior Ladies
The ladies were in action against local rival Lifford on Friday evening past. They also put in a terrific performance defeating the Lifford Ladies. They are putting in a tremendous effort this year under the guidance of Benji O Meara and the hard work is really paying off now.
They are due to Play Convoy this Thursday evening t.b.c.
Minor Board
The under 8 boys and girls played in Letterkenny on Saturday morning in their blitz. Again the young boys and girls played some great football and really enjoyed their day out. They are getting big numbers out fielding 2 teams each week. Well done to all involved coaching and looking after the children each week.
Under 10 boys and girls have a blitz this Saturday in O Donnell park Letterkenny.
Well done to the u-12 boys who were crowned group c shield final champions after Fanad Gaels failed to travel to challenge them in the final on Monday night. Well done to everyone involved keep up the hard work.
Well done to the U 12 girl that competed in the U 12 Development Blitz in St Marys Convoy on Saturday morning. As always the girls put in their best effort and got some great scores with 2 draws and 1 win.
Keep up the hard work girls, you should all be very proud of yourselves.

Under 13 boys training continues on Friday evaning at 6.30pm
Under 16 Girls suffered defeat in their opening game of the league away to a very strong Mc Cumhaills side. Their next game is at home V Burt on Tuesday the 22nd of July
Under 16 boys played their play off games last Wednesday and Friday. They lost out to Letterkenny Gaels on Wednesday evening in Letterkenny but bounced back on Friday evening with a great win over Glenfin at home. They now await the result of Glenfin v Letterkenny Gaels to find out their fate. If it’s going to be division two or division three they will compete in.
The local league is in full swing now with 10 teams in all taking part. It is fantastic to see so many young boys and girls out playing and enjoying the game. The third round of game is on This Wednesday at 7pm sharp. For anyone who hasn’t witnessed this spectacle the club would urge you to go and have a look at the skills on display.
Club meeting this Tuesday evening at 8.30pm in the clubhouse all club executives are asked to attend.
