we will be testing the young people of the area on their Malin GAA knowledge.
With a great prizes up for grab we will be encouraging everyone to take part. As it’s the last quiz of the school year,
here’s a little clue to one of the answers. What Malin Senior player wears a Donegal Cap during senior club matches??
Good Luck to everyone taking part & we will announce the winners over the next few weeks.
SPORTS DAY
The Annual Club Sports Day will be held this coming Sunday in Connolly Park.
There will be races for all age groups and the usual side shows, not forgetting our now legendary ‘lamb racing’.
Events get underway at 2.00 with something for all the family. Proceeds of the event will go to the Donegal Cancer Bus.
As part of the entertainment this year we will be running a “Country Queen” Competition.
Local businesses will put forward a “lovely girl” to represent them with each girl being put through
a couple of fun tasks on the day to test their Country Queen eligibility.
This will be rounded off with the winner being announced upstairs that night in the Clubhouse
where there will also be live music to entertain everyone. Sure it’s a bit of craic –
who wouldn’t want to be Malin GAA’s first ever Country Queen.
