SENIOR & RESERVES: Our Seniors & Reserves had a free weekend last weekend. Fixture for this weekend is mostly likely away to Carndonagh on Saturday but this will be confirmed later on in week and posted on our facebook page. Training continues for both teams on Tuesday & Thursday night.
LADIES FOOTBALL: Ladies were away to Buncrana last Sunday, beaten by a very strong Buncrana team on the day. Training continues every Tuesday in Straid. Next game down for May 22nd home to Dungloe.
LADIES REFEREE COURSE: Anyone in the Club who would be interested in doing a course regarding Referees for Ladies football in the County please contact Club Secretary David Hession on 0860538537. The Donegal Ladies Gaelic board are hoping to run courses subject to sufficient demand.
U16: Lads were beaten by Malin last week 4-15 to 3-07. U16 are home to Muff in Straid at 7.00pm on Friday night.
UNDERAGE FOOTBALL: Our U12 A & B played Malin last week in Straid with mixed results, A team beaten but B won their match.
Under-age fixtures for coming week: U10 GO Games start on Tuesday (13th) with a home game to Carndonagh at 6.30pm. U14 girls away to Milford on Wed/Thursday (to be confirmed0. U8 Go game home to Burt on Saturday at 11am.
BOOT EXCHANGE SCHEME: for Under-age players now up and running: In these times of financial constraints on families the club has introduced this exchange programme-old football boots in good condition that children have out grown can be dropped in or exchanged for a bigger/smaller pair as required. A minimum donation of €5 to the club for the boots that are taken away. Please contact Nichola Lagan on 0866030736 for further information . All boots can be dropped off at all Under-age training/matches.
