Senior Football
There was no joy for either of our Senior teams on Saturday as they lost to two highly-motivated, more experienced and stronger Newtown teams. Newtown have now won 3 in a row and sit above Buncrana in the league table but with fewer games played. However, Buncrana’s young players are maturing into a good unit and learning all the time.

The competition featured some of Ulster’s best U14 teams and all played brilliantly and competed strongly in all their games. Buncrana met Watty Grahams (An Ghleann) in the final but just ran out of steam after playing impressively all day. Congratulations to An Ghleann who have some really exciting talents that will be ones to watch in the future.

Colaisti Inis Eoghain
Applications are now being accepted from anyone wishing to be associated as manager/coach with the Colaisti Inis Eoghain teams entered into Ulster Colleges Competitions for season 2014/2015. It would be important that each club is represented by no less than two personnel, so that sufficient numbers are available for each team, as only teams with adequate personnel can be considered for entry to participate. Please forward names and contact details of those who may be interested to Pat McLaughlin, Gerard Callaghan or Michael Doherty no later than Tuesday 6th May. It is expected the Ulster Colleges AGM will take place on Friday 16th May and our entrie(s) very much depend on the availability of coaches if we wish to continue to compete.
