While Kilcar won the Gaeltacht Tournament with fine footballing skills, its their near Neighbours Naomh Columba who have stolen the headlines both locally and nationally today. While returning from a Spiddal Beach training session, the players of Naomh Columba spotted a local footing turf, they decided to give a hand (or a foot) out a two day job was complete in 20 minutes . Pictures of the footing emerged on Twitter and Facebook late last night, shorthly after Naomh Columba and Glencolmcille were threading on Twitter. A spokesperson for the club informed us that club manager Paddy J OVERSEEN the whole project !!! Well done to all involved
