In the Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure U-21 Football Championship Four Masters proved too strong for Naomh Columba in the first A quarterfinal played today. The second game in Convoy earlier this evening turned into a ding dong battle between Sean MacCumhaills, who led right through the first half, and Termon. Two Termon goals gave them the lead by the end of the third quarter but a crucial second MacCumhaills goal seen them through by the minimum margin. The other two A games are scheduled for tomorrow. In the B competition St Nauls got the better of Cloughaneely in their preliminary round game in Mountcharles and Muff beat St Eunans B in the C Championship.
