They sold a lot of tickets around Ballyshannon

St Mary’s Convoy may have sold the most tickets in Ireland in the GAA National Draw but I suspect Aodh Ruadh sold the most winners. Earlier this week three of the lucky winners in the Donegal section of the National draw were sold by Aodh Ruadh.

The National Draw took place last night and prize number 12 – a €500 One for All Voucher – was sold to John Rooney of Ballyshannon by Aodh Ruadh. The final prize a €250 shopping voucher at a retailer of his choice went to Hugh Gillespie of Ballyshannon. Among the winners in the County section were: Patricia O’Reilly, Sligo (€500), James Weedall, Ballintra (€500) and Pat Melly, Ballyshannon (€100) – all sold by Aodh Ruadh. Aodh Ruadh, of course, also held their own local draw where they had eight prizes, that is 13 winners in total, a lucky number after all.

The top prize winner of the National draw was Kathleen Finnegan, Glenfesk GAA who won the Renault Clio 4 Expression. Comhghairdeas Kathleen and congrats also to John, Hugh and the Aodh Ruadh sellers.
