Lt Tiernan McGuckin from Castlederg, is the post commander in South Lebanon with the Irish Defence Forces. Living on the border he is well aware of Donegal-Tyron rivalry and his platoon in the Lebanon is made up of Tyrone and Donegal men drawn from the 28 Infantry Battalion in Finner Camp.
Rivalry there is, hopefully, not as intense as it will be in Breffni tomorrow but they still like to show their colours and their support for their teams back in Ireland. Thanks folks, and stay safe.
