Senior Championship

The club hosted its first championship game for 2014 at the Bridge on Saturday evening last. Both teams had comfortable wins over Bundoran. The Pitch was looking splendid. Thanks to all who helped on the day with the shop and tea and also thanks to Daniel Sweeney who sang Amhrán na bhFiann.

In the senior game St. Michael’s won on a scoreline of St. Michael’s 4-10 Bundoran 0-6. The St. Michael’s scorers were: Colm McFadden 2-5, Christy Toye 1-3, Michael Langan 1-0, and Peter Witherow and Liam Paul Ferry 0-1 each.

The reserves also won on a scoreline of St. Michael’s 4-20 Bundoran 1-03. The St. Michael’s team and scorers were: Josie Gallagher, Denis Trearty, Shaun Doak, Eddie Patterson, Ryan Langan, Paul Creamer, John Sheridan, Stephen Coyle 0-6, Oran McGee, Ciaran Kelly 0-1, Dara McCarry, Daniel Doak, Lee Carr, Raymond McLaughlin 1-10, Danny Langan 1-1, Subs Keelan McGee 2-2 for Dara McCarry, Stephen Horan for Eddie Patterson, Brendan Devine for Oran McGee, Mark Stewart for Danny Langan, Shane McFadden for John Sheridan and John McFadden for Lee Carr.

Both teams are away to Kilcar on this Sunday with the throw ins at 1.30pm and 3pm.

Lotto Rota

The St. Michael’s Lotto Rota for this week is as follows: 4th October Dunfanaghy Ciaran Gallagher and Barry McGinley, Creeslough Pat Lafferty and Don Langan, . Anyone who is unable to carry out this very important job for the club is asked to get a replacement on the night.

Bingo

The €150 on the Snowball game at the Bingo session in Dunfanaghy on Sunday night last was won by Kelly Breslin Creeslough. This weeks Jackpot will be €1700.

Lotto

There was no Jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday night Sunday last; The Numbers drawn were 1,5,6,10,11,14; the Match 5 winners were Mary McColgan Sandhill Dunfanaghy and Geraldine Doohan Cottage Row Dunfanaghy who won €50 each. This weeks jackpot will be €6750.

Clubhouse Key

There is a Key for the Clubhouse in the Dunfanaghy Post Office during weekdays if required but anyone borrowing it must return the key to the Post Office.

St. Michaels Minor Board

Under 13’s

Our under 13’s played Convoy recently and lost by three points. Our boys staged a second half comeback from quite a large deficit but were narrowly defeated in the end.
