Kellogg’s Cul Camps

The Annual Kellogg’s Cul Camp will be held at the Bridge from Monday 27th July to Friday 31st July. Please note revised dates. The camp will cover Football Hurling and Camoige. The Cost is €55 per child, 2nd Child €45 and 3rd and 4th Child €40 for more information or to book contact Liam McElhinney 0868611097.

St. Michael’s Mini Lotto €5350 this week

There was no Jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday night last; The numbers drawn were 1,3,4,10,13,15. There were no Match 5 winners. 27 people matched 4 and their names were drawn. The winner of the € was The Log Cabin 5 from The Log Cabin Bar who won €100. This weeks Jackpot be €5350. The Club would like to thank Brian and Margaret Anne Dolan, Molly’s Bar Dunfanaghy, Seamus Sweeney Kildarragh Construction Philadelphia, Shaun Langan Creeslough Pallets and Michael McColgan Dunfanaghy for their continuing sponsorship of the lotto jackpot, it is very much appreciated.

Tickets are on sale in local businesses in Dunfanaghy and Creeslough and at the Bingo Session in Massinass Community Centre Creeslough on Sunday evenings, tickets for the St. Michaels Mini Lotto can now also be purchased on line anywhere at at onlinelotto on facebook .

Drive Home in Style From The Bingo in Creeslough

You could win a car on every game every Sunday night at the Bingo Session in the Massinass Community Centre Creeslough by winning a house on 45 nos or less. A number from 1 to 90 will be drawn out of a draw just prior to the Bingo commencing and if that number comes out in the first five numbers of any game on the night the Car or €10,000 is in play and if that house is claimed on 45 nos or less including the number drawn, then the car is won. The Normal Snowball also in play every night. In addition every House winner will receive a free entry to the weekly lotto, this weeks Jackpot is €5350. There is also a Monthly Draw with the 1st prize of a Television. Tickets for the television are €2 each or 3 for €5, Tickets are also available from committee members. free ticket with every Bingo Book purchased or 2 with a double book. Free draw every night at the Bingo for some great spot prizes, 1 entry with single book, 2 with double book. The single book is €8 and double €12, both books include snowball page. Bingo continues every Sunday evening at 8pm in the Massinass Community Centre. The €150 on the snowball game at the Bingo session on Sunday night last was won by Jacqueline Gallagher Dunmore Falcarragh who also won the Door Prize and she took a Bingo Book. This weeks Snowball will be €880.

Lotto Rota

The St. Michael’s Lotto Rota for this week is as follows: 25th July Dunfanaghy Eamon McGinley and Kieran Gallagher, Creeslough Rose Baird. Anyone who is unable to carry out this very important job for the club is asked to get a replacement on the night.

Club Gear

Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure is now stocking St Michaels club gear in children and adult sizes.

Initials can be embroidered on tops if requested in the shop.

St. Michaels Minor Board

Smashing Time

Anyone with any old crockery/ cracked cups should leave them at the Portacabin in Creeslough as they will be needed for our annual Sports Day.

Sports Day

Our annual Sports Day in aid of the Minor Board will take place on Sunday the 2nd August, all donations and or prizes for the raffle would be greatly appreciated, as this is the only fundraiser for the minor board.

Registrations

All players must be registered to take part in training or play games. To registrar contact your manager or Suzi Roarty on 087 2849214.

Cup/Mugs

Thank you to all those who donated cups and mugs which is greatly appreciated, however we could still do with more donations please.

Under 8’s

Training continues on Tuesday’s from 6pm to 7pm at The Bridge with the bus leaving Creeslough at 5.45pm sharp. €3 for the bus, Gumshields essential. Note there will be no training the week of the Cul Camp that is no training on Tuesday the 28th July.

Our under 8’s will be playing on Sunday the 2nd August at the Sports Day in Creeslough, more details later.

Under 10’s

Training continues on Tuesday from 6pm to 7pm at The Bridge with the bus leaving Creeslough at 5.45pm sharp. €3 for the bus Gumshields must be worn. Note there will be no training on Tuesday 28th July due to Cul Camp.

The boys and girls travelled to Termon last Saturday morning for a challenge match. We played two teams and the games lasted almost two hours divided into four quarters. Great fun was had by all, thank you to the players, parents who travelled to support and Termon for hosting and their lovely refreshments.

We are also invited to take part in a blitz on Saturday next July 25th in Dungloe as part of the Mary From Dungloe Festival. More details later.

Under 12’s

A huge congratulations to our U 12 County winners !The team travelled to Glenswillylast Wednesday evening which was a beautiful sunny evening with a very large crowd of supporters. Some spectacular football was played and St Michael’ s secured a great win . Well done to all concerned and a special thank you to all the players who took part in the training and performed so well in games. The team started off with 16 players at the beginning of the Season and we ended up with 35. A special thank you also to Gavin Mc Ginley for all his time and effort in training and managing the team , to Jamie Hunter, Trevor Mc Kinley , John Joe Trearty, Eleanor Trearty and Treasa Mc Ginley for assisting Gavin , to Andy Parry for lining out the pitches , to Jamie Hunter and Ciaran Kelly for refereeing games , to Angie Wilkinson of An Chistin for sponsoring a meal for the team , to Billy Boyle Buses for a very efficient service and to all the parents, family and supporters who supported the team .
As the children want to continue, training will continue and a number of Challenge games have been organised .Last Monday evening, we were away to Fanad with a squad of 22 players and played 2 games. The A team had a win and the B team had a loss.
Next week, we play a challenge game with Termon and we also have challenge games lined up against St Eunan s and Fanad Gael’s are coming to play a girls team. So we have plenty more football lined up for the Summer.

Under 14’s

Well done to our u14 boys who had a great win away in Milford last Fri evening.

Under 16’s

First game scheduled for 26th July opponents and time to be confirmed.

Minors

The Minors suffered a defeat against a strong Gweedore team in Magheragallen last Monday night and were due to play Malin this week. However, Malin conceded the game and this concludes the Minor Championship for 2015. Overall, this was a young Minor team who performed very well at A level.
