The  Donegal Poc Fada competition was held today in the mountains behind Letterkenny. In wet and windy, sunny, and everything in between weather the hardy competitors chose to climb a mountain hurling their way to the top and back. Despite lost sliotars, a few hidden ditches and many very wet feet Paul Burns, the Donegal hurling keeper won the senior competition narrowly ahead of Marty McGrath. In the Senior Camogie competition Shannon Doherty hurled her way to victory.

In the U16 hurling comp Oisin Marley just piped the competition by the narrowest of margins. The competition was fierce. In the U16 Camogie competition Suibhan O’Donnell had an excellent win ensuring that a trophy came back to the O’Donnell house.
