Intermediate A Championship – Group A
Naomh Ultan 0-14 Red Hughs 2-9

Cloughaneely 3-7 Naomh Bríd 2-8

Late scores swung both games in the Group A Intermediate Championship yesterday. Naomh Bríd from Division 3 were on the verge of upsetting Division 1 Cloich Cheann Fhaola on their own turf but Darren Ferry goaled for the home side deep in added time to keep Cloughaneely’s championship ambitions on track. Naomh Ultan led in the early stages in Dunkineely but two goals in the last five minutes of the first half saw them trail at the break 0-9 to 2-4. Within a minute of the restart the teams were level again and from there to the end there was never more than the minimum between them but the Killygordon side edged the tie with an added time free.
