Senior Men V Letterkenny Gaels

St Marys 0-10 LK Gaels 2-07

St Marys were beaten away to Gaels on Sat Afternoon they were without a few of the usual starters and found themselves a goal down very early in the game .Thomas Mc Hugh opens the scoring for St Marys quickly followed by Peter Blake (2) and J.A Kee to see the vistors take the lead 0-4 to 1-0 .

Gaels dig deep and find the back of the net and a point to go ahead 2-01 to 0-4 but points from Peter Blake and John Doherty keep the Game close.

Half time Gaels 2-01 St Marys 0-6

Gaels open the scoring with a point 2-02 to 0-6 before St Marys reply with points from Michael Ayton, Peter Blake and Dean Bonner to go ahead 0-9 to 2-02 .

Gaels level up the Game and then go ahead by a point 2-04 to 0-09 St Mary’s reply with a point from Benny Bonner but find themselves a man down as they have a player sent off.

Gaels settle and with three unanswered points go on to take the win.
