In a low scoring affair St Eunan’s recorded the first win for any of Donegal’s three sides at Feile na nÓg in Cork with a 0-3 to 0-1 victory over Na Fianna Middleton in Division 10. St Eunan’s went down by 1-2 to 0-2 in their opening game against Brian Dillons. Victory in the Letterkenny team’s final game today could see them progress although they will be up against it as their opponents, Tracton, were victorious in both their games.

Aodh Ruadh, who are playing in Division 5, the highest of any of the Doengal teams, have been finding the going tough with heavy losses to Michael Dwyers and Sliabh Rua in Clonakilty. They play Courcey Rovers today. Carndonagh, in Division 9, lost their opening game to Baile Garbháin, in Ballygarvan, by eight points but came close in their second, losing by the minimum margin scoring 4-4 to Ballycran’s 5-2. Their final game is against Kilbree and Kilmeen today.
