Na Rossa Club Notes 13/08/2014

Well done to Jim and the Donegal senior squad on reaching the All Ireland semi final last weekend. From all at the club.
The seniors travel to Letterkenny next Saturday to take on Letterkenny Gaels in their latest league game. Throw in is at 7.30pm.

The under 12s will play Bundoran away next Monday evening in the Vase final. Throw in at 6pm. Bus will leave McCreadys at 4.30 sharp. The same night the Dungloe/Na Rossa minor B team also travel to Bundoran to compete in the 2nd leg of the division 2 minor championship. They need to win to force a 3rd game as they lost the 1st leg in Dooey.

The A team will host Naomh Muire next Monday evening @7.30 in the division 1 championship 2nd leg and with a win will qualify for the semi final.

The under 10s will host a blitz in Dooey this Saturday morning. Details to be confirmed on Friday night at training.

The club are now taking orders for the All Ireland semi final which takes place in Croke park on the 31st August. Club members looking to order tickets should contact Pat Boyle before Tuesday 19th of August @9pm. No orders can be taken after this date. Prices are as follows; Stands €40, Hill €25, Juvenile €5. Juveniles must be accompanied by an adult. Student/OAP €40 (rebate of €10 on the day).

The clubs lotto draw took place last Monday evening. Numbers drawn were 15,18,20 & 21. The jackpot of €9000 was not won. Two lucky dip winners receive €50, Packie Gallagher, Corr point and Rena Bonner, Dooey.

The club are hosting a fundraising event entitled “Guess The Amount”. As the title suggests whoever can guess the amount of money that is in the bottle will win whatever amount that might be. If the correct amount is not entered then the person with the nearest amount to the correct total shall win the prize. If more than one correct guess then the prize will be shared equally. The cost per entry is €1. Tickets can be bought at local shops and Public bars. For more information contact any committee member.
