*Seniors*
CLG BnaG 0-13 Aodh Ruadh 1-10
Well… Na Galloglaigh and Aodh Ruadh provided a finale unfit for the faint hearted in Convoy on Friday evening. Na Galloglaigh got out of jail in this game, a jail they seemingly had made for Aodh Ruadh moments before. The wet and slippy conditions didn’t seem to deter Na Galloglaigh as they got off to a brilliant start, taking some superb scores, and after 7 minutes were 0-4 to no score ahead through scores from Cathal Mc Gettigan (2), Kieran Mc Laughlin, and a great effort from Christopher Barrett with the outside of the boot. Aodh Ruadh got a point themselves a minute after before Tj Evesson restored the 4 point advantage with a point from a tight angle. After 11 minutes Aodh Ruadh responded with a goal to bring them right back into the game and from there on they began to dominate the half. They were on top in midfield and seemingly first to every break and went 4 points clear before Enda McHugh scored right at the break to leave the half time score at 0-6 to 1-6. Luke Barrett and Darragh Black were introduced at half time for McLaughlin and Jonny Logue and both men went on to have a huge impact on the game. Luke and Darragh both got on the scoresheet in the opening 4 minutes of the half to bring the deficit back to 1 before Cathal McGettigan levelled the game up on 41. Na Galloglaigh were well on top and went on to control the game with Aodh Ruadh struggling to manufacture any sort of opportunities at the other end. It was from one such opportunity that the Ballyshannon team went ahead once more when their goalkeeper Peter Boyle pointed a 45 with 10 minutes left. The boys should really have been further ahead but were unfortunate with some wides. Luke Barrett equalised again 2 minutes later before Cathal put the boys ahead with 7 left. Na Galloglaigh were then reduced to 14 men when Joey Cullen got his marching orders for a fairly soft second yellow for kicking the ball away. But as usual with this Na Galloglaigh team they never gave in and dug deep and when Darragh Black put them 2 points clear with 5 to go the boys had to work their socks off to see out the game. In the 33rd minute Aodh Ruadh were a point behind when a mistake in the defence gifted them an equaliser. And from the resultant short kick out Aodh Ruadh turned over the ball to win a handy free to put them a point ahead and it looked like Na Galloglaigh had thrown the game away. It would have been a travesty had the boys lost this game as they were the better team for the majority of the 60 plus minutes. In the 5th minute of injury time the blues turned the ball over in midfield, and a great ball from Pauric Curley found Kyle Black in the full forward line and he did brilliantly to manufacture the space to score a point and level the game up! The referee blew time on a thrilling finale from the kickout afterwards to make this game go to a replay on a date TBC. A great game, and great character and spirit from the boys once again. Team: Sean Gallagher, Kieran Sheridan, Sean Black, Gary Merritt, Gavin Grier, Enda McHugh (0-1), TJ Evesson (0-1), Jonny Logue, Joey Cullen, Kieran McLaughlin (0-1), Christopher Barrett (0-1), Pauric Curley, Kyle Black (0-1), Cathal McGettigan (0-4), Paddy Peoples. Subs: Luke Barrett (0-2) and Darragh Black (0-2) for Logue and McLaughlin (HT), Adam Serrinha for C. Barrett (63m, BC), Anthony Fisher, Barry McNulty, Paul Grier, Shay Durning

*U16 Ladies*
CLG BnaG 1-7 St Eunans 4-7
Our U16 Ladies were defeated by a bigger and stronger St Eunans side in a playoff for the Div 1 Quarter Final last night. Instead our Ladies now progress to the Div 2 Quarter Finals.

*U13s*
Our U13s defeated Glenfin at the weekend to make it 2 wins from 2. Best for Na Galloglaigh were Owen McElhinney and Owen O’Donnell with substitutes Eoghan Hiemstra, Paul Ryan and Liam Donnelly all making a big impact. Next up for the U13s is a match against Gaoth Dobhair on Wednesday. Scorers: Eoghan Hiemstra (2-1), Matthew McLaughlin (1-1), Shane Black (0-3), Jake Doherty (1-0), Liam Donnelly (1-0), Owen O”Donnell (0-2), Barry Donnelly (0-1), Dylan Dorrian (0-1)

*U11 Gary Doyle Memorial Tournament*
Our U11s went to O’Donnell Park, Letterkenny to take part in the Gary Doyle Memorial tournament, and did very well to reach the final. Unfortunately they got beat in very exciting final against a team from Meath, Naomh Colmcille by 3 points. A great effort by all the players who got equal game time to reach the final especially Alec McConigley and Killian McBride who were super all day. A big thanks to St Eunans who invited us up and for a very well organised tournament
