*Health & Wellbeing Club Day 2015*
After the huge success of last years event the ‘Healthy Club Day’ returns for a second year. The event will take place from 10am to 2pm at the Public Services Centre in Milford. Entry is free and open to anyone so why not come along and get your blood pressure or blood sugar checked by qualified nurses free of charge while also availing of information from services such as: •HSE Smoking Cessation Service
•HSE Nutrition and Dietitics service.
•Drug and Alcohol misuse by the Christina McEleney of the ETB
•Social proscribing by Leslie Newberry (Social Proscriber working with the socially isolated)
•Milford Community Library focusing on Self Help books and other materials.
•Milford Citizens Information
•Milford Couch to 5k
•Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation (Michael McGlynn)
•Physical Therapy and Sports Injuries (Conall McFadden)
•CLG Baile na nGalloglach will also be providing information on what is available regarding Gaelic Games in the Milford, Rathmullan and Ramelton areas
There will be a general information stand on various local Mental Health supports also. A very worthwhile free event that is not to be missed.

*Scor*
A reminder to all members of Clg BnaG, first round of Scor Sinsear takes place in Gortahork parish Hall on Saturday 31st January. Any support would be appreciated. We’re still looking for a quiz team so if you’re interested, please get in touch with Brendan Ward on 0863409183 or any club officer. Also if anyone would like to volunteer to help at the county final in Ramelton Town Hall on Fri 6th February, please give Brendan a call.

*2015 Membership*
The 2015 membership rates were decided at Decembers AGM and are as follows:
€200 – Database members (3 panels on weekly lotto). Entitled to 2 full adults and juvenile membership for all children up to 18yrs.
€100 – Database members (1 panel on weekly lotto). Entitled to 2 full adults and juvenile membership for all children up to 18yrs.
€70 – Family Membership. Entitled to 2 full adult membership and juvenile membership for all children up to 18yrs.
€50 – Senior Ladies (Players). Entitled to one full adult membership.
€40 – Adult membership. Entitled to one full adult membership.
€30 – Juvenile membership.

As well as full family membership database members are:
– Entered into every draw every week
– Automatically in Christmas hamper draw (One for database members only)
– Receive 11 weeks free entry to lotto draw

Membership must be paid by St Patricks Day, 17th March 2015. The Club will only be able to source Donegal tickets for fully paid up members. Membership can be paid to any team manager or member of the Executive Committee, or very easily through our Team App on your mobile phone. This extremely useful app (Team App) can be downloaded from the app store. Complete your registration on download and search for CLG BnaG. Membership can be paid via the ‘Shop/Play Lotto’ option.

*Minor Training Schedule for January*
The Minors return to action next month and their training schedule for January is as follows:
Friday 16th – Ray Community Centre (6pm)
Sunday 18th – Pitch (10am)
Friday 23rd – Ballyare (8.30pm)
Sunday 25th – Pitch (10am)
Friday 30th – Ballyare (8.30pm)

*GAA Liberty Insurance Young Student Award*
Congratulations to Luke Barrett who was one of five young coaches from throughout the country who were awarded the GAA Liberty Insurance Young Student Scholarship. Luke received his award from Anthony Daly at Saturdays Games Conference in Croke Park. Luke was selected based on his coaching at club level as well as with Donegal Development Squads and is currently the NUI Maynooth Freshers manager. Well done Luke

*McGettigan & Barrett Feature in O’Byrne Cup*
Well done to Cathal Mc Gettigan and Luke Barrett who both Featured in the O’Byrne Cup the past week, the Leinster equivalent of the McKenna Cup. Cathal came off the bench for DIT in their 3-10 to 1-12 victory over Wicklow last Wednesday but didn’t feature in Sundays 1-12 to 1-9 win over Carlow due to injury. DIT have now progressed to the Semi Finals of the O’Byrne Cup where they will play Kildare this weekend. We wish Cathal and his team the best of luck and hopefully he recovers from his injury in time. Luke Barrett also came off the bench for NUI Maynooth in their 0-18 to 1-7 win over Laois last Wednesday however the students exited the competition on Sunday following a 1-17 to 0-3 loss to Offaly.

*Netting Direct Competition*
All our Facebook followers are encouraged to vote for the Club in the Netting Direct competition currently available on the Club page. The Kilcar based company are giving away €6,000 worth of equipment to one lucky team. To be in with a chance of winning this prize the Club needs to accumulate 500 votes. You also vote every 24 hours so we ask all our supporters to vote each day until we reach the 500 vote milestone. More information is available on the Club Facebook page.

*GAA National Draw*
Tickets are now available for the GAA National Draw. Tickets can be purchased through the Club app or from any Committee member. Instructions on how to get the Club app are on our website. *Lucozade Sport Kit Out Project*
Lucozade Sport are back with another promotion this year which was very beneficial to us last year. However this year they are NOT looking for the bottle caps, instead they are looking for a promotional code that is found printed on the bottle underneath the wrapper. We would like to ask all our players and supporters to hold on to any Lucozade Sports bottles they come across and leave them in the designated bottle bin at the Clubhouse. Thanks again for the help collecting last year and we look forward to collecting even more this year!

*Lotto*
This weeks lotto numbers were 2-4-11-13. No jackpot winner, 3 match 3 winners, win €25 each.Patrick & Patrice McBride, Paul Doherty. Patsy Gallagher. Next weeks Jackpot is €640. *Milford GAA Club Gear*
Club gear is now available to order. Anyone who has ordered club gear but yet received it are to contact either Aidan or Barry. The range of club gear includes Hoodies, Tracksuits tops, Windcheaters, hats, navy polo shirts, white polo shirts, and t-shirts.
