Paite Gabh have withdrawn from the Junior A championship with consequences for the three Groups previously drawn. As a result of Pettigo’s withdrawal Group A and B remained intact with four teams but Group C (where Pettigo had been) was reduced to 2. With agreement from County Committee the three Group structure was retained with one of the 8 teams in the two groups of four (A and B) being added to group C. The team drawn was . Naomh Colmcille have withdrawn from the Intermediate Championship so there is now one group of three. A CCC proposal to use the games against the top two teams in the group to separate the two best third placed teams for the quarter finals was agreed tonight, Sept 2nd, at County Committee.
Naomh Pádraig Uisce Chaoin, Roibéard Éiméid and Carn Domhnaigh have withdrawn from the junior B championship. This leaves just four teams. With agreement from County Committee, Iorras is now in Group A instead of Naomh Pádraig Uisce Chaoin. The Group matches will be completed and the top two teams will play in the Junior B Championship final
The fixture list on the website as a result of changes arising from all of the above will be updated tomorrow.
