Letterkenny Gaels Club notes 9/9/14

Tickets requests for the All Ireland Football Finals must be text to Jim Mc Glynn before 6pm this Friday 12th September on 086 2271435.
Priority will be given to Club Members who have paid their Membership Subscription for 2014 or are Members of Friends of the Gaels.

The Senior men are back in action this Saturday evening in their penultimate game of the season away to Moville. Please come along and support the lads for this game. Throw in is at 5pm. Training continues every Tuesday & Thursday evening at the pitch. New members always welcome.

Our Annual Family Fun Day took place last Sunday with scores of children & adults enjoying the activities under the September sun. Thanks to everyone for coming out & supporting this event and a special word of thanks to the people who helped out, sponsored food/prizes, etc.

We will be holding a Night at the Races on 26th of September in the Arena 7. See Facebook for more details.

Our U-16 lads were beaten by Cloughaneely in the Championship on Monday evening.

Underage training continues this Sunday morning at 11am at the pitch. U-8’s & U-10’s training continues on Wednesday evening from 7-8pm.

Camogie training continues every Tuesday evening at Pairc na nGael from 6-7pm for 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th class. 5th, 6th class & Secondary school on Monday evening 6-7.30pm at Pairc na nGael. Contact 086 8163605 for information. New players welcome.

Hurling training for U-6, U-8, U-10 and U-12 continues at the pitch every Thursday evening from 6.30-7.30pm. Hurley’s and helmets provided for training.

The U-16 Hurlers play Carndonagh this Thursday evening in the division 2 Championship.

U-14 & U-16 girls football training continues every Wednesday evening at the pitch. Contact Jim Farrell for more details on 086 056 6893.

No lotto jackpot winner this week. Match 2 lucky dip was Sean & Fiona Mc Brearty, Friends of the Gaels. Next weeks jackpot will be €3350.

Sympathy is extended to the Coll family of Castlefinn & Letterkenny on the death of Garry’s mother Mary.
