Senior Football Challenge – Donegal v Down Sunday May 5th

Donegal will play Down in a senior challenge game next Sunday, May 5th in Tullyhish as part of the Down club’s 75 year celebrations. Three weeks before the Ulster Senior championship opener it is likely that Paddy McBrearty will get his first start in nearly a year. The Kilcar man’s performances for his club since the commencement of the Brian McCormick Sports Division 1 in early April have been impressive, helping underpin their unbeaten start to the league. It may also give senior management a chance to see how Eoghan McGettigan, who has impressed for Naomh Conaill in the league and been rewarded with a call up to the Donegal squad, fares at county level. The game throws in at Páirc na nÓg, Tulach Lis at 3.00 pm and admission is £10 for adults, £ 5 for OAPs and juveniles are free.
