Sean Doogan RIP
It is with regret that we learned of the death of Sean Doogan, Bavin who died on Thursday 26 February. On behalf of C.L.G Chill Chartha we extend our sympathy to his wife Mairead and his sons John and Frankie. Seán was a lifelong GAA devotee who played football for Kilcar during the 1950’s and 60’s and was captain when Kilcar won the Division 1 League, Democrat Cup, in 1959/1960. After his playing days he was a constant presence, together with his great friend Petie Carr, on The Grand Stand, Towney during match days. Ar dheis lámh Dé go raibh a anam dhílis.
We would like to express our deepest sympathies to the families and friends of the following who sadly passed away recently, Con McGill, Towney, Hugh Kennedy, Main Street and Kathleen Hegarty, Straleel. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anam.
