The showcase occasion for club hurling in Donegal this Saturday in O’Donnell Park will see St Eunans take on Setanta in the Senior final at 3:30 pm and Aodh Ruadh play Dungloe in the Junior final at 1:30 pm.

Setanta have dominated club hurling in Donegal over the last five years but Naomh Ádhamhnáin, having their third tilt at them in three years, will be boosted by the Senior League title they won back in the summer. Writing in our Programme, seasoned sports journalist and hurling aficionado, Gerry McLaughlin tips Setanta but only just and gives Eunans a fair chance of upsetting the applecart and overcoming the favourites.

The Junior final pits 2019 champions Aodh Ruadh well established as a hurling club against relative newcomers An Clochán Liath. The Dungloe side, however, reached the Junior final last year, gave a good account of themselves against Carndomhnaigh and will be looking to go one better in 2021.
