It’s been a great few weeks for Dungloe winning the Division 2 Under 15 County Championship and the Junior Hurling title and they hope to continue the winning streak the A and B Intermediate finals this Saturday. It is 35 years since An Clochán Liath last won an Intermediate title, a testament to their long run at Senior level. Relegated last year they aim to bounce straight back.

In Dungloe’s way is Cloich Cheann Fhaola. They are veterans of the final at this stage but want their run of successive defeats (2019 and 2020) to stop this year. Their conquerors in those finals Naomh Naille and Aodh Ruadh both made it through to the Senior Championship quarterfinals in 2021, reflecting the high standard of the Intermediate competition. Their form indicates neither clubs would struggle at Senior level and both are determined to get there. It should be a great game between two well-matched quality sides.

Anthony McCallig will be throwing in the liathróid  in the B final at 13:00 and the Senior game commences at 15:00. Tickets need to be purchased in advance and are available via the link on the Donegal GAA website:

Both finals are also being streamed by Donegal GAA TV available at:

These links are also on the landing page of the Donegal GAA site and virtual programmes will be available from this afternoon. Printed programmes will also be available on the day.
