GAA Academy: the Four Masters Academy for young footballers and hurlers continues on Saturday 12th from 11am- 12.30pm. The Academy is open to all 4-7 year olds. Cúl Camp: Registration for the famous Kellogg’s Cúl Camp is now open. The camp is open to boys and girls aged 6-13 years of age. The club will host the camp on 21st-25th July. Registration for the camp is €55 for first child, €45 for second child and €40 for third/fourth child. Each child will receive a Cúl Camp jersey and bag. The Kevin Faulkner Memorial: The annual Kevin Faulkner Memorial Tournament was held again this year for our U10 boys and girls. It was run over a few Wednesday evenings with 6 mixed teams taking part in some thrilling football matches. The weather was kind which really helped. Damien Dunnion U10 Manager ran the tournament very well and with his group of helpers who coached and refereed and gave up their time to ensure a great couple of outings culminated in a fantastic final. This tournament has been an integral part of our underage development for over 30 years as our young players play competitively for the first time with a lovely Cup and Medals on offer. Which means tears were shed for the losing teams while the winning Donegal team bore resemblance to Jim’s teams joy in Croker a couple of years back! Michelle Sweeney and her helpers were also involved and indeed are producing some great players for the future as the girls showed some great skills for the game over the 2 weeks. Packie Faulkner was on hand to present the Cup and medals on behalf of all the Faulkner Family and continue this great tradition in the club. Ross O’ Keeney was the winning Captain for his Donegal team who defeated a gallant Dublin side in the final and let’s hope this is a sign of things to come! Again thanks to all who helped out, great to see the Refs togged out in their official gear which also adds to the occasion, the tea ladies who are an integral part of any club without much thanks but it doesn’t go unnoticed girls. Thanks also to the managers of each team who coached the teams and to all who came out and lifted cones, goals etc. which helps make it easier for all the volunteers. Well done to all and lastly well done to all the players who gave it their all and showed a bright future for the club ahead.

Games: Well done to Reserves against Kilcar and hard luck to Seniors on Sunday last. Next game is in Tir Conaill Park on Sunday 13th against St. Eunans. Please come along and support.

U12 Girls: On Saturday July 5th Four Masters Ladies hosted their U12 blitz for this season. With heavy showers all morning, it looked in danger of being cancelled but ended up being a beautiful day. There were teams from Killybegs, Bundoran, Ballyshannon, and St Nauls. Due to lack of numbers in the other clubs we had to make a last minute change with Four Masters fielding 3 teams of 10 players each. With all teams played 3/4 games all girls got plenty of football. These teams are showing a huge improvement every time they take to the park and their commitment and effort is evident in all the matches. Although there are no official scores kept, the girls tell me that 2 of the Four Masters teams beat Bundoran who had been unbeaten in 3 years, so that is a sign that all our training is paying off. It is fantastic to see the girls turning up in such large numbers on an ongoing basis. Thanks to all the parents who provided refreshments for the players and thanks to all who helped out on the day, in particular Anne McGowan with the catering, and Matt, Michelle, Michael and Danny for refereeing. The blitz was a great success and we look forward to our next action which is an all county development blitz in Convoy next Sat July 12th at 10.30 where 11 of our players have been selected to participate. All support would be welcome.
