Donegal play Senior All-Ireland and Provincial Finals on Same Sunday – Is this Unique?

By Sinéad Breen Donegal PRO Sun 22nd Nov

Two big finals today and Donegal spectators can watch both live – although only from the comfort of their own homes. Mayo are the opposition in the Nicky Rackard Cup final which throws in at 1.30 pm, a match which is being streamed by TG4 and covered on the airwaves by Highland, OceanFM and RnaG. All three stations also cover the Ulster SFC final and it is also being broadcast live on BBC2 and RTE 2. The game is a repeat of last year’s decider with the senior footballers meeting Cavan in the Athletic Grounds in Armagh with the match commencing at 4.00 pm. For overseas Donegal fans the game can be purchased on GAAGO.
