Donegal GAA – Job Vacancy for Primary School Hurling Coach County Wide

COACHALAI BUNSCOILE / PRIMARY SCHOOL COACH –

  1. Hurling COUNTY-WIDE

CLG Dhún na nGall are seeking to recruit a full time coaches (one year contract, with possible extension) to work within the Primary, School sector and within Clubs to deliver coaching and Games Development.

The coach will be responsible for delivering the physical literacy and GAA specific skills to a variety of age groups. The coach will be required to work closely with the Ulster Council GAA and Donegal County Committees and will focus on existing schools network, as well as clubs in their respective regions.

He / She will be expected to work during school time and in addition some unsocial hours are required to develop after school opportunities through school/ club links and in the summer camps programme.

Applicants should note that they will be required to demonstrate that they meet all of these requirements at the time of submitting their application. These include:

RIACHTANAIS / ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  1. Hold a GAA Award 1 (at time of interview).
  2. Have at least one year full-time experience (or part-time equivalent) of coaching children in a school, club, summer scheme or teaching practice environment within the last three years.
  3. Garda Vetting and Child Protection also applies
