A valiant performance by the Donegal hurlers, dominating the game against Wicklow for long periods, was undone by four goals from sharpshooter Gary Hughes (report and pictures on link below). Next up for the Donegal hurlers are the men from the Oak Leaf County in Round 2 of the Christy Ring Cup at the Derry Centre of Excellence in Owenbeg on Saturday, May 18. The game throws in at 3.00 pm.
In their Roinn 2B Allianz League clash earlier this year, Donegal stayed with Derry for the first half but the home side emerged victorious after a strong second half performance. If the Donegal men can built on their performance against Wicklow there is every chance they can reverse this out-turn on Saturday so please come and support them.
