Aaron Kyles, the GDM of CLG Dhún na nGall, along with two friends, James McGroary and Kevin McBrearty (Four Masters) are hiking Carnaween mountain in Letterbarrow this weekend.

They are raising money for Olivia (Livie) Mulhern a young girl from Donegal who is very sick and hope to raise €10,000 for the family. Livie was recently diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), a devastating diagnosis for Livie and her family. This means that Livie’s muscles are degenerating and without intervention she may not live past her 2nd birthday – overall, the family need €2 mn for medical care. The three men will  go up and down the mountain 20 times in 48 hours over the course of next weekend – 5th, 6th and 7th of Jun. It will be the equivalent of climbing the height of Mount Everest.
