CLG Dhún na nGall announce Gaeltacht Scholarships for 2016

Tá CLG Dhún na nGall sásta go raibh muid abalta scoláireachtaí de luach €250.00 an duine a thabhairt do sé dhuine óg s an chontae. Le cois sin, imbliaina, bhí muid abalta ocht scoláireacht eile a thabhairt de luach €200.00 a fuair muid ó Chomhaltas Uladh. Ciallaíonn sé seo gur cuireadh €3,100 go hiomlan ar fáil chun an Teanga a chuir chun cinn  i mbliana.
The list below shows the successful applicants whose names were drawn for the Comhaltas Uladh Scholarships of which there were 8 (eight) each one to the value of €200.00. The GAA in Donegal enjoys a close working relationship with Comhaltas Uladh (the Ulster branch of Conradh na Gaeilge) and every St. Patrick’s Day, many of the GAA clubs carry out the church gate collections. All money collected comes back in to the county through the students who attend the three Comhaltas Uladh Irish language colleges in Teileann, Loch an Iuir and Rann na Feirste. This year Donegal were awarded eight scholarships to the value of €200 each (Total €1,600) and these were added to the six Gaeltacht Scholarships which CLG Dhún na nGall provide each year for our young members.
