By Sinéad Breen Donegal PRO Mon 22nd Dec

Buncrana GAA Notes for Week Ending Sunday 21st December 2014

A disappointing outcome for the management and the players of our minor team who played in the All County Minor B Semi Final. A game that was played in terrible conditions in the Donegal GAA Centre of Excellence with a strong winds on Sunday afternoon. Buncrana settled in best in the first half with leading 0-04 to 0-01 at half time. The 2nd half showed Four Masters take the lead early and play with alot more confidence which helped them win the game by 9 points. The full time read Four Masters 2-10, Buncrana 0-07. Well done to both teams for putting on an excellent game of football in terrible weather conditions on a heavy pitch and Good Luck to Four Masters in the Final.

Well Santa’s gone for another year, a big thank you to all the boys and girls who came to meet him on Saturday in Scarvey, he really enjoyed meeting you all and hearing all your requests. Thank you to all who organised the event supplying beverages and mince pies and to all Santa’s helpers who kept the children amused by decorating cookies and arts & crafts, to our photographer and runner in getting the photos immediately, such a great event to start of the festive season. Congratulations to the winners of the hampers were Rois Davis and Madeline Redmond

Congratulations to our U13 Girls who received their County Medals also on the day. Stars of Future.
