BUNCRANA CLG NOTES (31.01.2016)
Congratulations to Caolan McGonagle who made his debut this weekend against Down in his first National League senior match. We also wish him luck in the rest of his Sigerson campaign for DCU and to all our club players representing their colleges.
National Club Draw
Remember that the National Club Draw tickets are now available from any club member. All proceeds go back towards the club and are a pivotal part of club fund raising. Please try to sell or buy a ticket where possible. Prizes are second to none.
Friday, 19th February will see Buncrana GAA host their Presentation Night in the Inishowen Gateway Hotel. This will be for presentation to all our adult teams who have seen success in 2015. It promises to be a great night with live music by The Hectics and disco afterwards. Tickets are €10 and are available from Buncrana club members and players. This is open to all and new faces are always welcome. Party starts 9pm!
Buncrana GAA has a recycle bin at The Scarvey. Anyone who wishes to place old clothes, shoes, curtains, towels etc… can do so. This helps raise funds for the club. Open for anyone to use.
Lotto numbers this week were 1, 2, 4, 22. There were no winners. Next wee the jackpot will be 1,050.
Anyone who may have information on GAA in the Buncrana area around 1916 is asked to contact the club. May be of interest to some of our local Historians!
