There were three Brian McCormick Sports & Leisure All County League games played Saturday May 25th with victories for Kilcar, Naomh Conaill and Milford but with the outcome up for grabs in all three ties until close to the final whistle.

Gaoth Dobhair                    1-5                            Naomh Conaill                    0-12

Cloich Cheann Fhaola    0-10                          Cill Chartha                           0-12

Baile na nGalloglach      5-8                            Sean MacCumhaill           1-12

The Glenties men join Cill Chartha at the top of the table after a vital away win in Magheragallon. A goal early in second half from James Carroll put the home side 1-3 to 0-4 points ahead with the wind in their backs but they were down to 14 men and Naomh Conaill took full advantage with a strong second half performance.

Leauge table positions counted for little in Falcarragh on Saturday evening as Cill Chartha were put to the pin of their collar by Cloich Cheann Fhaola. The visitors were double scores at 0-8 to 0-4 when Cloughaneely hit a pruple patch with four points in succession to tie up the game going into the last quarter. Kilcar though hit back to retake the lead but as the game entered added time the margin was back to the minmum befor the visitors wrapped up the game with a late free.

Sean MacCumhaills led by two points 1-4 to 1-2 at the break after a fairly boisterous first half that gave no clue to the drama that was to break out in the second half when a goal blitz by 14 man Baile na nGalloglach secured two vital points for the Milford men. Three early points had edged the home side ahead when Luke Barrett was red carded for striking and MacCumhaills subsequently equalized with their first point of the half. Two more goals for hat-trick hero Cathal McGettigan and one each for cousins Kane and Christopher Barrett gave the home team their second win of the campaign and moved them ahead of MacCumhaills who now lie bottom of Division 1.
