A welcome win for Donegal Hurlers

By Sinéad Breen Donegal PRO Tue 4th Feb

Donegal’s eleven point victory in Healy Park last Sunday was a welcome win after a barren period stretching back to 2018. Manager Micky McCann in his post-match interview said the team was itching to get back into action after a very dis-appointing opening game against Armagh – a game they started brightly but faded alarmingly in the last quarter. Armagh, though, are a formidable outfit as they proved this weekend with a comprehensive demolition of Monaghan, while Longford also have a 100% record with five points to spare against Louth. Results so far are:

Allianz National Hurling League 3B

Round 1

Jan 25th Donegal 0-15 Armagh 2-17

Round 2
