Glenswilly GAA notes for March 29th

Minors

The minor boys team face St Eunans on Saturday next, April 2nd with a
throw-in time of 6pm. All support is welcomed.

U14 boys

The U14 boys had their first league outing of the season and got off
to a good start with a good team display and a victory over Naomh
Colmcille. They continue their campaign on Friday with an away game
against Letterkenny Gaels.

Child protection course

There is a child protection course coming up on a Monday night in
April but no date set yet. All club members coaches or any adult
involved with kids must have this course done plus be Garda vetted.
The course in April is limited to the first twenty (20) names. All
managers must make sure that all helpers have ths done. Give any names
who have to do this course to Annmarie McDaid 0863387363.

Mixed luck

The seniors and the receivers had mixed luck in their league game on
Easter Monday at home. The seniors went down to Naomh Chonail while
the reserves came away with a win.

Easter Draw Cards

Could all managers make sure that the Easter draw cards have been
handed in . The draw is now extened to Sat 3rd April. All cards to be
collected with money and handed into Bryan Faul. Contact Bryan to
arrange collection.

Ladies board notes

There will be a ladies referee course on 13th April, venue to be confirmed.

The course will start at 7pm and last for three hours. It is suitable
for anyone Over 16 who is interested in refereeing ladies/girls
matches.

Our Under 14 girls start their competitive campaign on 2nd April
against Killybegs.
Ladies next outing is 10th April against McCumhaills.

A Table Quiz is being organised in May, details later.

Athletics

Athletics continue on Tuesday nights for juveniles and will continue
for the foreseeable future.

Both Saturday and Tuesday nights are for children 7 years and above.
Saturday Athletics will be starting back again on either 2nd or 9th
April at 11am and Tuesday night starting back again on 5th April 7pm.

Martin O’Donnell will send out a text to remind those participating.

Lotto

The winner of last week’s lotto was Raymond Callaghan of Churchill who
matched three numbers. The winning numbers were 9,12, 21 and 23. The
lottos are available in many local outlets.

Bingo

The bingo continues in the hall each and every Wednesday night
starting at 9pm but players advised to get their early.
